I graduated in Electronic Media from Educational Multimedia Research Centre, Indore. I joined government T.V. channel named Doordarshan as an intern, later I moved to an ad production house at Mumbai. Further for my post graduation, I joined Satyajit Ray Film & T.V. Institute, Kolkata for the specialization in motion picture photography. I have experienced broad spectrum of filmmaking and worked as a director and director of photography (D.O.P) in the institute. So far as per my academic curriculum, I’ve directed two short films, one in 16mm, other in digital format. As a D.O.P I shot a short film named Thug Beram in 35mm, music video in Black & white 35mm film and a documentary in digital format. My short film Thug Beram won the Sunje Award for the best short film at Busan International Film Festival in 2011 and screened in various film festivals. Currently I am in my last year of three year post-graduation diploma course. I am supposed to shoot a diploma film (final year thesis film) of 30min in 35mm format.
