Reema Sengupta graduated at the top of her class on the course B.A. (Hons.) Contemporary Media Practice from the University of Westminster, London in 2012. She was also awarded the ‘Achievement Award’ for academic excellence by the University in the year 2011-2012. Her first short film The Tigers They’re All Dead, a political satire set in Mumbai, won nine awards at film festivals. Reema has interned with Warp Films, an award winning British production house, and headed the PR and Media department for Harvard University’s first Model United Nations Conference in India, with over 1000 delegates from 5 countries. She was also one of 18 screenwriters at the International Green Screen Lab 2012, where she started developing her first feature film script. She hopes to make cinema for social change.
