Born in Beirut on the 27th of October 1980, Koussay decided to join film school at the age of 18. He made his audiovisual studies from year 2000 to year 2003 and graduated in 2005. He was very close to cinematography and cameras. He shot more then 20 short films and 15 documentaries and worked as a gaffer with the best local and foreigner directors of photography. He attended many cinematography seminars and workshops and was engaged in deeper studies in camera techniques and films.
He also directed two short films, "IN THE FIRST DAY" 2003, and "WELL PLAYED" 2004. The two short films proved a great success being screened in many countries in Europe, Asia Africa and the American continent.
At the moment he is preparing for his third short film that will be shot in February 2007, and is working in Beirut as a freelancer director and cinematographer, and currently runs a production house named Mad 4 Films producing TV commercials, short movies, documentaries and soon a feature film.
