Carlo Francisco Manatad will soon graduate of the University of the Philippines Film Institute. Filmmaking has always been his passion. With his admission into a film school, he used every opportunity to improve his talent by creating several shorts that honed his skills in directing, cinematography and, most especially, editing. Carlo wants to “film” and “weave” works which talk about the imaginative and exquisite lives of people and their emotions. He wants to make films that represent the region’s culture and communicate meanings that are collective to the existence of humanity. One day, he hopes to write, direct and edit his own feature film.
