Jeff graduated with honors from the University of the Philippines Film Institute. He discovered his inclination to production designing during his first production experience in a musical student thesis film in 2008. He directed and designed his first short film Banaag in 2010, which was given an excellency award by the University of the Philippines and was chosen as one of five films from his batch that were screened at the 2010 Cinemalaya Exhibition Films category. Jeff continued designing for more films until he found himself braving the commercial production arena in 2010 as production designer and art director. A full-time associate creative director in one of the major production houses in Phnom Penh, Cambodia now, Jeff continues to discover and learn more about filmmaking and production in general.
