A freelance cinematographer, Yan Daiyao, graduated from Beijing Film Academy (BFA) and received his master degree at Communication University of China (CUC) in 2013. In recent years, he worked on lots of Chinese/oversea co-production films and worked for talented international DPs from US, Germany, and Australia. Brother, which he participated in, was invited to the Wide Angle section of the Busan International Film Festival and rewarded Best Cinematography in the Macau International Short Movie Festival and the Asia International Youth Film Festival in 2013. . He also worked a lot with senior ASC/ACS/BVK DPs as a camera operator in big co-production films. Last year, he shot 2 feature films, Painter and Flow in July.
