Sadam Wahidi was born in Kabul in 1991. He graduated Kabul University with an undergraduate degree in Agriculture. When Sadam was 9 years old, he started working at BBC Radio AEP both as an actor and an announcer in the programs for children. He directed his first 36 minutes experimental film when he was 14 years old. When he was a student, he participated in many TV commercials; two feature films and two TV serials -Our Street (2011-2013) and Shereen (2016). He has been working as a director assistant, Project manager and producer in many feature films and TV Dramas. He established an independent film production called Rumi Films Production, in 2014. He wrote and directed short films; You are not American (2015), Mary Mother (2016), The Luck Bird (2017). His films officially selected for competition more than 60 international film festivals and won 17 international awards.
