MIKITO KYO studied Journalism, graphic Art and Film making in Japan USA and UK. He began his career as a motion graphic designer/Art director in US. In 2002 X-games image spots was nominated for Emmy awards mid-Atlantic.

Despite of his successful graphic design career in US, he decided to re-educate himself as a film director in a MA filmmaking postgraduate degree at London Film School. His graduation short film YUKI NO HANA has been generously appraised and currently screened in film festivals all over the world.
