Bakhtier Kakharov was born in Dushanbe city, Tajikistan in 1963. In 1985 graduated from Tajik Polytechnic Institute, architectural faculty. From 1986-90 took part in the different Tajik animation films as designer. 1990-92 Advanced Courses of the Unit Of Cinematographers and Goskino USSR in Moscow, teachers Hitruk F. & Nazarov E. From 1992 director of animation films "Tasveer" and "Kino service" studios. 2004-2005 Bakhtier Kakharov worked with Mr. Mohsen Makhmalbaf in two films "Sex & Philosophy" & "Scream of the ants".
