I was born in Herat province of Afghanistan in 1981. Now, I am a student in law faculty in my final year. I have started art activities at school. I learnt about filmmaking through books and watching movies. I have made 3 short films for Herat TV. And I got a certificate of culture and information directorship. I made my first feature-length film 'THREE DOTS' in 2004. This film participated in Festivals of 3 Continents (Festival des 3 Continents) in France, Köln Film Festival in Germany and Ocean Film Festival in Delhi. I received best directing awards in two festivals, Ravzana and Köln. I have been working individually so far and I desire in the near future to own a company especially in order to help young filmmakers.
