I am Richard Soriano Legaspi, an Advertising, Aesthetics and Art History Lecturer at the University of the East, Philippines. I finished my degree in Fine Arts with Advertising Arts as major at the same university. Then I studied scriptwriting workshop for film and television under Ricardo Lee. I am also part of the Cultural Center of the Philippines and Intel-Pentium Video editing workshop last 2005. Before my teaching career I worked as Graphic Artist Head and Design Consultant. Ambulancia or Ambulance is my fourth short film and first narrative feature starring Alan Paule and Nor Domingo. One of my works is "DOORS", a finalist at .MOV International Digital Film Competition and Smart Cuts Category 2005. Another is "BOX", finalist at 2006 End Frame Video Project. Doors and Box both represented the Philippines in the recent One Minute Film Festival in Netherlands last year. At the same year, my poetic film ¡°Makatang Luneta¡± won in the Annual Cinemadali Short Film Festival sponsored by the Film Academy of the Philippines and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. I also work as part-time Assistant Director and Production Designer for digital short and full-length films like "Blood Bank" Best short feature at the .MOV International Digital Film Festival and in competition at the prestigious Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival in France. "Ninth Floor" in competition at Cretail International Women's Film Festival in France and Kitchen Sink Drama in competition at the recent Bilbao International Short Film Festival in Spain 2006.
