I was born on 1983. Now I attend Film art of college Im Kwon Taek. I started to be a director when i made "Sanctuary" (DV, color) in 2006. And I was made other short movies, such as "Sweet-room" (2007, 16mm, Color) and "Hero" (2007, DV, color). I got a lot of scholarship from my film. I joined a Korean independent film industry as a producer of "Public Secret" and also "08 Himalayas", a Jun Su-il's film. I have joined a number of graduation movie productions in my school. At the present day, I'm ready for my first length-feature film. After graduate from my school, I will submit to KAFA (Korean Academy of Film Arts) or KNUA (The Korean National University of Arts).
I was an intern of AFA 2007. In my opinion, studies or works in filmmaking with foreign filmmaker is a very good opportunity. And also master classes by a famous director or professional staff is very fascinating. I have an experience when I was an intern of AFA last year. So I will do the best for AFA 2008. Anyway, it will be a good experience when I discuss with another young Asian filmmaker. So I decide to apply for the upcoming AFA.
Nowadays, I'm ready for my length-feature graduation film and other film festivals. I will study in KAFA (Korea National University of Arts) or KNUA (Korea Academic of Film Arts) after graduate from my school. In the future, I will work in Korean independent film industry. Finally, after getting success in Korean independent film industry, I will make a good film in Korean film industry. That is my hope. That's all.
