I was born in 1983 in Tehran-IRAN. I have MA degree in cinema directing from Sooreh University in Tehran. Besides directing some short films, video clips and some animations, I was involved in some short films as the editor, photographer and director’s assistant. I attended in different kinds of film Festivals in Iran or in abroad and some time I was nominated or won prizes.
Furthermore, I attended in some campus like, Berlinale Talent Campus - There I had been accepted in a team of editors who had the opportunity to edit a part of “Land of plenty” one of Wim Wenders’s film again.
I also attended to “Interaction - Zlatibor 2006” an international film student camp in Serbia, which took a month, and it was sponsored by an Independent Film Center named “Film Art”. There, I made a short documentary (inside the circle).
My favorite filmmakers are Wong kar-wai and Tim-Burton. I like to make feature film and I’m very fond of making film for children. Also, I get a lot of enjoyment from sport, specially swimming. I absolutely adore traveling; I’ve always had itchy feet. “My motto is” … try the best for your aim.
