Takuya thinks of himself as an idea generator and problem solver, but really spends most of his time trying to be a sound designer and recordist. He became fascinated with sound, as a medium for storytelling while mixing a short film made for a class exercise. This simple fascination with creating a stereo sound field marked the beginning of his journey in filmmaking. Takuya enjoys experimenting and creating intrinsic soundscapes for his projects, and feels very blessed that he is able to make a career out of it. His projects have been screened and exhibited in numerous international film festivals and museums.
