A big girl with big dreams, Martika Ramirez Escobar is a graduate of the University of The Philippines Film Institute where she finished as a cum laude and was awarded best thesis for her short film entitled Stone Heart, which went on to compete in Busan International Film Festival 2014. She has developed her craft by concentrating on her academics, taking up workshops outside her college and pursuing various internships and jobs related to film and media.
