Abdul Zainidi is a Bruneian filmmaker and artist based in Paris where he had studied at the Cours Florent with theatre, mise- en- scène and clown major. He moved onto filmmaking to tell his stories and made over 10 short films; worked on filming for short films and fashion week Paris. His short film Vanishing Children was the first Bruneian film to be selected at the London Sci-Fi film festival and was also represented Brunei at the Cannes short film corner in 2016. He is the first Bruneian to be selected for Asian Film Academy 2016. He is also planning to make a feature film this year with minimum budget; the greatest stories need to the biggest wallet. Recently, when Abdul was invited as a speaker, his French short films Vanishing Délirium and spark were screened at the University of Brunei short festival.
