After completing her undergraduate degree, she pursued her career in film and TV with experience within areas of entertainment business. Having been fascinated by genre films ever since she was little, she hoped to explore all manner of human endeavor through films, especially illuminating the darker side of human nature and society that surrounds us. Besides her pursuit of filmmaking, she is also a founder and director of Scream Queen Filmfest Tokyo, a festival dedicated to showcase and promote works by women genre filmmakers from around the world.
