Anna Francesca ‘Che’ Espiritu is a Filipina filmmaker-cinematographer. She studied Film in the University of the Philippines Film Institute and developed her eye for a wide range of visuals, from gritty neorealism to stylized expressionism. In search of more stories to tell through the camera, she has traveled to the other side of the world and has recently finished her MFA in Motion Picture Arts in Florida State University, USA. Aside from cinematography, Che is also passionate about making Children’s Films. Her short film Mami (Mommy) has competed in Toronto International Film Festival and several other children’s festivals all over the world. She currently works on short films in the Philippines as a cinematographer, and dreams of shooting her first full-length film in the near future.
