Persian “Apple” Maglinte is a filmmaker from the Philippines with a love for production. She line produced the Manila reshoot of Master (2016) where she worked with Korean director Cho Ui Seok and producer Jisun Bak. Maglinte also worked on JP Habac’s short film Maria (2017), which won various international awards and screened in numerous international film festivals. A graduate of Polytechnic University of the Philippines, where she majored in arts and theatre, Maglinte was the production manager of Carlo Francisco Manatad’s short film Jodilerks dela Cruz, Employee of the Month (2017), which had its world premiere in Semaine de la Critique at the 70th Festival de Cannes, and was also part of the short film competition for Cannes, 2017. Maglinte recently line produced the short film Manila Is Full of Men Named Boy (2018) by Stephen Lee, which is part of the short film competition for the Venice Film Festival 2018.
