A graduate in Journalism, Sambath Chey worked as a reporter and producer at the national radio station of Cambodia until 2011. He joined the BBC Media Action based in Cambodia in 2010 where he produced and directed several TV series, which draws a large audience of young people. He is currently a senior producer for TV series at the BBC Media Action. Laek, a short film he worked on as a cinematographer, was a finalist in the competition section of Tropfest South East Asia in 2014.
