Louise Anne Yamsuan earned her degree in Film and Audiovisual Communication from the University of the Philippines Film Institute. A passionate writer, filmmaker, and an independent cinema advocate, L.A. has taken part on several film and television productions both as a student and as a media practitioner. Her film Tutos was part of the Cinemalaya Film Festival in 2008 and was nominated in the Best Short Film category of the Gawad Urian of the same year. She also worked as a researcher and production coordinator for ABSCBN, one of the topnotch television networks in the Philippines.
Currently, L.A. is a Creative Content Producer for the National Broadcasting Network, the Philippines’ government television channel. She is also a college instructor at the College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Arts teaching Basic Video Production, and a high school faculty at Saint Scholastica’s College teaching Creative Media.
