Yangiqu Fei, who received her MFA at New York University Tisch School of the Arts Asia, has shot various short films and commercials across Asia, in places, such as, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Mainland China, etc. Her cinematography work has screened at different international film festivals, such as Milan International Film Festival, Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia, and many others. Yanqiu’s short film, Mong, which she directed, won Runner Up Best Student Cinematography at the Palm Springs International Shorts Fest 2012. She also participated in Taipei Golden Horse Film Academy 2014 as a cinematographer. Now she hopes to continue to work with inspiring filmmakers to create projects that tell extraordinary stories of ordinary people through the magic of cinema.
