Putri Purnama Sugua is a 24-year-old passionate filmmaker from Sabah, East of Malaysia. After completing her undergraduate studies, she has pursued her career in the film industry by freelancing. At the same time she has founded her own company, DREAM TO FLY, which makes Web film commercials for governmental organization. The experience of having grown up in the unprivileged area made her want to become a filmmaker. Through her films, she wants to let the voice of struggling powerless people be heard. She is now developing her first feature House without Ground, a story about the struggle of stateless child who has been apart from his family.
