T-Thawat Taifayongvichit, nicknamed Pete Taifa, is a Thai cinematographer and film director. He started making films in high school. He studied filmmaking at Mahidol University International College, majoring in Film Production. His senior project, the film 83 Soi Soonvijai 14 received much attention. It won the White Elephant Award (Grand Prize in Student Category) at Thai Short Film & Video Festival 2016 and Grand Prize in Film Category at Young Thai Artist Award 2016. It was also screened at Busan International Short Film Festival 2017. He is currently a professional cinematographer based in Bangkok.
