Xaisongkham Induangchanthy was first introduced to a world of cinema when he studied Mass Communications in Singapore. He has always wanted to be a film director ever since. His first documentary won Outstanding Documentary at the 4th Annual Student Film and TV Festival in Hong Kong. He then furthered his study in video production in Australia before joining a group of emerging Lao filmmakers called ‘Lao New Wave Cinema’ to make the first thriller drama in Lao movie history. In addition to his job as a community radio coach, he also finds time and resource to make a short film.
