Ankita Purkayastha graduated from Satyajit Ray Film and TV Institute in India, with a degree in Sound recording and Design; currently working on films as a sound editor. Her diploma film was in the Official Selection at Cinefondation- Cannes and Tel-Aviv International Film Festival in 2016. She has also been a part of Looking China in 2014 and the film was screened at Beijing Film Academy.
